- ➤ Over the next several months, Savannah Morning News will use newsroom resources to study hunger in our community—focusing on how low wages, high food costs and cuts in federal aid affect children, seniors and working families. - ➤ Savannah-Chatham Public Schools launched a new 24/7 AI chatbot called Let's Talk to help parents, students, staff and community members get answers in 13 languages on its website. The program, approved on May 7 with a $452,100 three-year budget, gathers feedback and speeds up replies—unresolved inquiries are sent to team members—so the district can better serve its community.
