- ➤ Officials from the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency confirmed that 2nd Lt. Milton L. Hymes, Jr., a 22-year-old airman from Savannah killed in World War II, was accounted for on November 21st—scientists used DNA and dental tests to verify his identity.
