- ➤ Local students visited Georgia's first floating oyster farm on Nov. 21 to learn coastal ecology through the ECO program. The field trip included a pontoon boat ride and oyster dissections — activities that connected them to their local ecosystem. The Current

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Most Social Security recipients receive one check following their scheduled dates. However, SSI beneficiaries in Georgia already received the December check on Dec. 1 (for December 2025) and will get a second check on Dec. 31 for January as they missed a November payment. Savannah Morning News
