- ➤ Families gathered along the Savannah riverfront on Saturday evening for the 24th annual Eastern Wharf holiday kickoff, where live music, food trucks, festive lights, and a boat parade on the Savannah River set a joyful tone; Santa met with children and noted that Mrs. Claus is a Georgia peach (25 boats joined the parade) while organizers celebrated the waterfront's role as the colony's birthplace (a key part of our local history). BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Small Business Saturday took place yesterday and offered shoppers unique deals on fashion, beauty and home goods from local retailers and small brands on Amazon — an initiative started by American Express in 2010 to support local businesses. - ➤ The Cold Moon — the last supermoon of the year — will peak at 6:14 p.m. on Dec 4 in Georgia, and clouds may partly hide it while higher tides are expected. People will not see another supermoon until late spring. Savannah Morning News
