- ➤ Earlier this week, Savannah partnered with Second Harvest to distribute 1,400 food boxes to households in need—residents gathered at Moses Jackson Community Center on Wednesday and many drove, walked, or biked to pick up their supplies. Mayor Van Johnson said the city will continue to distribute 234 boxes at two sites each day over the next two days to aid the 14,000 households relying on SNAP. WTOC 11
