- ➤ Army veteran Brian Harlow will run in the 8th annual HonorMark race at Daffin Park Saturday to raise money for families of first responders and military veterans in need. - ➤ Public ice skating returned to Savannah as the first skate night was held on November 7th at the new Enmarket Arena—this change comes as the city partners with the Savannah Ghost Pirates to replace the aging Martin Luther King Jr. Arena and provide access to an NHL-size facility. WSAV
- ➤ Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia distributed 1,000 food boxes on Friday to help local families hurt by a government shutdown that cut SNAP benefits and left some government employees unpaid.
