- ➤ The Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society will host its 20th Annual Buddy Walk this Saturday at Forsyth Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. where about 3,000 people are expected to celebrate and raise awareness for individuals with Down syndrome — registration is $15 and funds family support and Camp Buddy. - ➤ On Saturday, November 8, The Four Revelers along with the Savannah Music Collective and Baldwin Park Neighborhood Association will host Savannah's first Porchfest in Baldwin Park, where over 30 bands will perform genres from brass to hip hop. The free festival will run from noon to 7 p.m.—with an after-party at Hop Atomica from 7 to 10 p.m.—bringing neighbors together to enjoy local music and food. WJCL
- ➤ St. Mary’s Community Center will host the Fall Into Success Career Fair on Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon in Savannah for job seekers to learn about new careers and apply for positions. - ➤ Today, the Savannah Paranormal Museum opened on West Boundary Street—it displays haunted artifacts and shares ghost stories from the city's long past. Open Thursday through Sunday, the museum gives visitors a safe space to explore local paranormal lore. WJCL

- ➤ The Savannah Area Chamber mourned the loss of former Board member Dr. Kathy S. Love who dedicated her career to technical education & workforce development.
