- ➤ Today, Pearson Farm, a fifth-generation peach and pecan farm in Fort Valley partnered with dozens of state restaurants to raise $22,180 for CURE Childhood Cancer during Savannah Peach Week, Atlanta Peach Week, and Atlanta PeachFest. Peach Week began in Savannah in 2022 and expanded to Atlanta in 2024—adding extra donation sources for CURE—while the fundraiser shows growing statewide support. Savannah Business Journal

- ➤ A Nor’easter that brought rainy, gloomy weather to Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry moved out by Sunday night, leaving clear skies and rising temperatures from the upper 50s this morning to the upper 70s this afternoon—conditions expected to continue through the week until a cold front may approach early next week. Meanwhile, a tropical disturbance in the Central Atlantic will likely develop into a tropical depression by midweek but is expected to stay far from the U.S. WJCL

- ➤ Today, public health departments in the Coastal Health District offer the updated COVID vaccine for the 2025-26 respiratory virus season—supplies are limited so residents should call to confirm availability.
