- ➤ ICE enforcement has increased in Savannah and many immigrants are scared as local nonprofit groups report a surge in calls for help—families are gathering legal documents and canceling community events due to fears of raids. Savannah Morning News
- ➤ Local tour guides from the Savannah Association of Local Tours will clean up downtown Savannah squares on Saturday, Sept. 27 as part of their new Maintaining Our Savannah Squares—MOSS—initiative that includes partners from the Downtown Business Association, Downtown Neighborhood Association, and Tourism Leadership Council to create cleaner public spaces.
