- ➤ Today, SAFE Shelter Center for Domestic Violence Services & 4 the Jewel N U launched the Shield DV & Trauma Community Support Group, the first confidential space in Savannah for survivors over 30 to connect & heal. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A sinkhole was discovered Tuesday morning near Johnson High School at the intersection of Country Drive and Iantha Street—Savannah Police advised motorists to use Sunset Blvd as an alternate route while crews repair the roadway. WJCL

- ➤ Two Hearse Ghost Tour guides helped a shooting victim when gunfire hit a car near Lucas Theatre Friday night—both victims were taken to Savannah Memorial Hospital with minor injuries while authorities continue investigating the incident. WJCL
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ A study from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business showed that Georgia ports supported over 650,000 jobs—a 7% increase from fiscal year 2023. The study found that nearly one out of eight jobs in the state is tied to port activity, including in Savannah. WJCL
