- ➤ At Fort Stewart on Wednesday, a mass shooting left five soldiers injured while suspect Quornelius Radford was taken into custody. Radford sent a text at 10:30 a.m.—stating he loved his family and that his time was coming to an end—that his uncle Joe Mitchell said left their family heartbroken and confused. WJCL
- ➤ A federal grand jury indicted former Staff Sgt. Buck William Aldridge on civil rights charges for using excessive force and falsifying reports, and he resigned after the Camden County Sheriff’s Office asked him to step down — the indictment did not mention the October 2023 case in which he fatally shot Leonard Cure.
