- ➤ The historic chapel on Tybee Island, famous from The Last Song, has been renamed The Chapel by the Sea and remodeled as a wedding venue and event space. Its grand opening is scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and will include a ribbon-cutting, guided tours, live entertainment, food, and activities for families (with one lucky couple set to win a free wedding) as it opens to the public. - ➤ The 11th annual Savannah Comic Con kicked off Saturday at the Convention Center with thousands attending a family-friendly event featuring hundreds of vendors, cosplay contests, video games, wrestling, and special guests such as Debi Derryberry — known for voicing Jimmy Neutron and characters in popular films.
