- ➤ On July 8, Savannah teens from Savannah Youth City completed a month-long emergency response simulation at the Chatham County Sheriff’s Complex to practice first aid and disaster skills. - ➤ Organizers announced the new Hostess City Food & Wine Fest Savannah at a press conference on July 11th, calling it coastal Georgia’s newest and most exciting culinary event; the festival will take place on Nov. 8th from 3 to 6 p.m. at The Park at Eastern Wharf at 101 Port St. Savannah Business Journal
- ➤ Savannah will host the 2025 Hostess City Food & Wine Fest this November at a scenic waterfront spot where top chefs and restaurants like Ardsley Station and Husk will offer unlimited tastings. - ➤ The Hotel Development Committee for the Savannah-Chatham Convention Center Authority will hold a teleconference next week at 10:00 a.m. to review design updates on a new 400-room hotel adjacent to the Convention Center—an update presented by representatives of Songy Highroads, the Atlanta firm chosen in Oct. 2023.
