- ➤ Police say a man on the 900 block of E. Waldburg St sustained multiple gunshot wounds in a late-night shooting—occurring hours after several people were shot at the Oglethorpe Mall—and his condition was not released as investigators seek information. WJCL
- ➤ On July 2, a shooting at Oglethorpe Mall left three people with gunshot wounds after security responded quickly—store manager Alex Cervino said employees sheltered until police cleared them to leave. Savannah Morning News

- ➤ Savannah City Council unanimously adopted the new Savannah GPS strategic plan on June 26 to guide city operations, service delivery and decision-making, addressing issues like housing affordability, public safety and community development.
