ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A fatal crash in Effingham County shut down all lanes on Jun. 13th—emergency crews responded while law enforcement investigated the cause. WTOC 11
- ➤ One person died in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning on Highway 21 at Clyo Kildare Road near Oliver Kildare Road in Effingham County — officials said traffic was blocked and drivers should avoid the area. WJCL

- ➤ Savannah police said nineteen-year-old D'Monte Keon Anderson turned himself in after a shootout on Congress Street injured four people—he was booked on charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm while police ask for public help identifying four others seen in surveillance video. - ➤ Local and state dignitaries ribbon-cut the new Savannah Culinary Institute at Savannah Technical College on Thursday morning at the renovated historic building at 7 W. Bay St.—the ceremony capped over 10 years of planning and featured free food and confetti as the event celebrated the boost to our local culinary scene and workforce development. - ➤ Savannah’s SPLOST project list has been revised as the city faces a $60 million reduction—priority one projects now include $40 million each for Benton Boulevard improvements and Civic Center redevelopment while remaining funds will support drainage and road enhancements.
