- ➤ Clearwave Fiber expanded its 100% Fiber Internet network in Savannah today while working with WSAV-TV to support a local food drive. - ➤ Savannah police are seeking 19-year-old Cole Gagnon (5 ft 7, 125 lb) for questioning over a May 19 shooting on the 700 block of E. 53rd Street that left a man seriously injured; anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020. WJCL

- ➤ The Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival began on May 31 with a Dreams Fulfilled Scholarship Gala and will run until June 21 with events like Lunch and Learns on June 10 and 17, a Fireworks Show on June 19 at Daffin Park, and a final celebration at Forsyth Park—hosted by Chosen For The Arts and presented by The Eichholz Law Firm to honor the legacy of freedom and resilience in the African American community. - ➤ Chatham Area Transit Authority will add two new waterjet hybrid ferries, Juliette Gordon Low II and Susie King Taylor II, to Savannah’s waterways—these vessels carry 150 passengers and run on a modern electric system with onboard diesel generators.
