- ➤ The Savannah Police Department is investigating a May 24 shooting in the 100 block of W. Congress Street that injured four adult males — three were found on the sidewalk with serious gunshot wounds — after officers responded at 2:10 a.m. Savannah Business Journal

- ➤ Mayor Van Johnson discussed plans to fund improvements to the drainage system during his press conference on Tuesday after recent rains caused 11 streets to close on Sunday, overwhelming the system.
