  • New data shows unsheltered homelessness in Chatham County fell from 271 to 104 since 2023 while more people have moved into shelters. Local leaders plan new prevention programs & affordable housing as overall housing instability remains a concern.  Savannah Morning News
  • Bloomingdale held a tribute yesterday where community leaders honored fallen service members by reading their names — a heartfelt gesture reflecting local pride and remembrance — reinforcing how the community cherishes its shared history.  WTOC 11

CULTURE NEWS

  • Savannah and Bloomingdale will host diverse events from May 28 to June 3. EDUCATION NEWS
