- ➤ A shooting took place in downtown Savannah overnight when two groups got into a fight and fired gunshots near a construction site on Congress Street by Whitaker Street—police say four people were hurt and the investigation continues. WJCL
- ➤ On Friday, May 23 at 2:30 p.m., a fatal stabbing on Camelia Court in Savannah left one woman dead — police arrested Michelle Williams, 30, who is charged with murder and aggravated assault. Savannah Morning News
- ➤ At around 2 a.m. on May 24, shots were fired at Ellis Square in downtown Savannah, injuring four people—three were taken to a hospital by emergency responders and a fourth by another person; police urge anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020. Savannah Morning News
- ➤ Chatham County police are searching for missing 38-year-old Nicholas Sammartino—who may be suffering from a dangerous medical emergency—after he was last seen leaving St. Joseph’s Hospital and warn anyone who sees him to call 911 immediately. WTOC 11
