- ➤ Savannah families gather at the Savannah Mile Memory Walk to honor fallen heroes and loved ones lost in service (further details on event timing are expected soon) as the community pays tribute. Savannah Morning News
- ➤ Two local ministries have united to run a Saturday program offering free meals, clothing, grocery items and counseling at 1901 Pennsylvania Avenue, and they accept food donations to support the outreach. The program is part of CAYA Ministries and serves those in need. WTOC 11

- ➤ Tybee Island’s 39th annual Beach Bum Parade kicked off summer on Friday night along Butler Avenue, where floats + spectators joined in a playful water fight. The event, starting in 1987, unites locals and visitors in a long-standing tradition marking the season’s start. WTOC 11
