- ➤ The City of Savannah will kick off its 100 Days of Summer initiative with a pool party at Daffin Park on Friday, May 22 & feature music, food & games as summer camps, sports leagues and programs run May 26 through July 17 at community centers and public pools. WTOC 11
- ➤ City officials report that homeless encampments in Savannah have dropped by 83% since 2023 as outreach programs and housing assistance improved local conditions. Local agencies plan to maintain support efforts in the coming months. WTOC 11
- ➤ Savannah entrepreneur Emily McCarthy announced the Invite Joy Fund recipients today, selecting ESP Savannah, Shelter from the Rain and Loop It Up Savannah. Each nonprofit will receive a $5000 check to support programs for women, children and families. Savannah Business Journal
