A house fire on the 2000 block of Gugel Street displaced one person last Sunday afternoon—firefighters responded to the incident and the cause remains unknown.

A 17-year-old suspect, Nicholes Holbrook, accused of setting fire to five Wilmington Island homes was granted a $1,500 bond on Friday and transferred from jail to a treatment facility in Augusta where he faces the condition that leaving early will revoke his bond and completing the program will require wearing an ankle monitor.
