- ➤ Women in Savannah were honored at the fifth annual Women in Business Gala — hosted by the Metropolitan Savannah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce — with keynote Dr. Alejandra Sosa Pieroni and WJCL’s Shannon Royster speaking. - ➤ Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 671 will host a Memorial Day service at Vietnam Memorial (Emmet Park on Bay Street) on Sunday, May 24, with music starting at 5:30 p.m. and a ceremony at 6 p.m. to honor 106 local service members who sacrificed their lives. WTOC 11
