- ➤ Today, Savannah artist Inky Brittany owner Brittany Curry is preparing to celebrate her 10th business anniversary on May 22 with a series of social media videos that show her creative process. Over the past ten years, Curry has become a pillar of the community through her art and activism and has launched a new website featuring her story and portfolio. Savannah Business Journal
- ➤ Andee DiCola, an Army mom whose son served as a ranger, raised funds after four Fort Stewart soldiers died in a training mission in Lithuania. DiCola, who volunteers with the Landings Military Relief Fund and works for Vereen’s Turf Products, said a $10,000 donation will help the widows travel to Lithuania for a memorial service (supported by the Lithuanian community). - ➤ Five people died when two vehicles collided in McIntosh County Sunday morning at 6:00 a.m.—one vehicle burst into flames and a passenger from the other vehicle was taken to the hospital. WSAV
- ➤ Five people died Sunday morning on I-95 in McIntosh County when two southbound cars collided around 6 a.m.—two adults and three children in one car lost their lives, while a passenger in the other vehicle was hospitalized. WTOC 11
- ➤ A two-vehicle crash on I-95 in McIntosh County killed a mother and her four children, aged 3 months, 2, 4 and 9 years, after a Jeep Cherokee rear-ended an Infiniti near mile marker 62 at about 6 a.m. Sunday. Savannah Morning News
