- ➤ Hundreds of runners participated in the annual Red Shoe Run on Easter weekend to support Ronald McDonald House (Coastal Empire) by following a route from the house, through the hospital campus and back. The event is set to raise $30,000 this weekend to help keep its programs running year-round. WTOC 11
- ➤ Yesterday, at Savannah Scottish Rite, Guardians of Old Glory retired a worn American flag — attended by US Marine Corps personnel, Coast Guard retirees and local Scouts — and replaced it with a new flag. The ceremony honored American traditions. Savannah Morning News
