- ➤ Savannah native Alex Yarber was recognized in Deadline Hollywood after his screenplay was listed on The Black List’s Georgia List—he is now seeking local investment to complete his crime film 'A Low Country Crime Story' inspired by his work at a Tybee Island restaurant. Savannah Morning News
- ➤ Pastor and filmmaker Sidney Bryant directed Redwood, a film inspired by the 2020 murder of Ahmaud Arbery, and produced it with ONE Compelling Picture and the Faith and Film Coalition (using local Douglas actors and 14 days of filming). The film follows a mother coping with her son's loss and premiered in October while it will be available on Amazon and Tubi (within the next 30 days). Savannah Morning News

- ➤ The Georgia Department of Transportation will close lanes on I-95 near the South Carolina line at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15 for bridge inspections on the Savannah River bridges; inspectors will work first on the northbound then the southbound lanes (drivers should slow down as closures depend on weather).
