- ➤ Tybee Island is preparing for Crush Reloaded on April 18 and 19 with safety measures including checkpoints on Highway 80 to protect residents and visitors. Barricade installations will begin Monday, April 13 as officials gear up for thousands of expected spring breakers. WTOC 11

- ➤ Telfair Museums announced today that Jesse Bloom was named CFO as the museum celebrates its 140th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of the Jepson Center. - ➤ The updated drought monitor shows worsening drought conditions across Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry, marking the worst drought in Savannah since 2012. After 17 dry days, isolated showers and thunderstorms could break the streak today, according to WJCL 22. WJCL
- ➤ Tanger Outlets Savannah invites residents to donate used sneakers to support a recycling program that repurposes rubber for soft play surfaces.
