  • Savannah residents have until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 30 to vote on which two dishes will advance in the Ultimate Savannah Dish Challenge Final Four.   • Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America opened on March 26th and is expected to add nearly 38,000 jobs that will change the local economy.   • Savannah police and fire officers will soon distribute 1,000 food boxes to help residents facing food insecurity as part of a new program partnered with Amazon and Second Harvest. Mayor Van Johnson launched the initiative to provide canned foods, grains, vegetables and fruits while officers will be trained to identify those in need— a first such effort in the area.  Savannah Morning News
