CRIME NEWS

  • Effingham County Sheriff's Office deputies went to Parker's convenience store on Old Augusta Road in Port Wentworth around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday morning—finding one man shot in the head who died at the scene and another person injured—and Port Wentworth police are investigating the shooting.  Savannah Morning News
  • Savannah Police responded to a stabbing on March 15 in the 10000 block of Middleground Rd—where an adult female was fatally wounded—and the investigation is ongoing.  Savannah Morning News
  • Savannah police arrested Johnathan Manson (27) for murder after officers responded at (6:10 p.m.) on Saturday, March 15th to a shooting on the 2000 block of W. Bay St. where they found a victim who died at Memorial Health University Medical Center.  Savannah Morning News
