- ➤ Saturday, March 7, Savannah residents attended the 7th annual Weeping Time African Unity Festival where Black-owned businesses, food, music, and local talent celebrated culture and honored community history (167th anniversary of a painful sale). Organizers said the event turns past tragedy into future growth. WJCL
- ➤ Savannah is gearing up for the 2026 St. Patrick's Day parade on Tuesday, Mar. 17. City officials will set up command posts Friday, Mar. 13 plus host food trucks and marshals on event days throughout the weekend. Savannah Morning News
