  • Del Taco permanently closed its Georgia restaurants on Feb. 19, leaving local customers without a spot for Taco Tuesday — the chain filed for bankruptcy in 2024 before its Chapter 7 liquidation and subsequent acquisition aimed at reviving the brand.  Savannah Morning News
  • Today, three attorneys from Bouhan Falligant (Lucas Bradley, Gary McGinty, and Jake Saas) were named to the prestigious Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Stars List; Bradley and Saas were recognized for their Transportation and Maritime work while McGinty was honored for Personal Injury Medical Malpractice efforts.  Savannah Business Journal
  • Five partners at Bouhan Falligant were named to the 2026 Georgia Super Lawyers List today, recognizing their expertise.   • After a thrilling semifinal round Thursday night in Savannah, five finalists have been chosen for the 2026 American Traditions Vocal Competition. Contestants (including Curtis Bannister, who honored local icon Johnny Mercer) will compete today for gold, silver and bronze awards.  WJCL

  • Georgia gardeners cleaning up their spaces this spring should avoid invasive species such as Japanese Honeysuckle and English Ivy that can be sold online or in stores + consider native options such as Eastern Red Columbine to support pollinators.  Savannah Morning News

  • Georgia Power may lower bills by over $1.30 monthly beginning this summer if state regulators approve two proposals filed this week, providing relief for residential customers.  Savannah Business Journal
  • Savannah’s historic Powder Magazine (the little castle in the woods) received a local historic property designation from City Council last week. Built in 1898 in the Gothic Revival style and designed by Hyman Witcover and Alfred Eichberg, it now faces preservation rules that will guide future alterations.  Savannah Morning News
