- ➤ Savannah will host the 3rd Annual Camellia Festival on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Truman Linear Park Trail and Cohen’s Retreat. The festival will feature a community run/walk plus workshops, art, food and the display of thousands of camellias planted by local students. Savannah Business Journal

- ➤ After rain on Sunday, Monday's weather in Savannah will see temperatures rise from the 50s in the morning to mid-60s by afternoon. Forecast calls for mid-70s on Wednesday and inland highs reaching low 80s Friday and Saturday, with record highs of 84 in the city. WJCL

- ➤ A study by the Silent Spring Institute found that many popular hair extension products sold locally contain hazardous chemicals linked to cancer, hormone disruption, and other risks. Most products lack ingredient labels, and state regulators and the FDA may soon propose measures to boost product safety. WJCL
- ➤ Skidaway Island resident Bruce Koehler has better blood counts after joining a national trial testing a repurposed cancer drug to treat leukemia early + researchers extended the trial to five years based on promising results. WJCL
