- ➤ According to a WalletHub study released Tuesday, Georgia is ranked No. 1 for racial progress as it reduced the earnings gap by over 32% since 1979 + cut the education gap by more than 23 percentage points while also boosting business ownership and civic engagement. Savannah Morning News
- ➤ Downtown streets will be closed on Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade starting at 10 a.m. at East Broad and Liberty, and traffic will be rerouted until around 2 p.m. Vehicles in no parking zones may be towed. WJCL

- ➤ Southern Living has featured The Laundry Diner's unique key lime pie oyster after it impressed diners at the Georgia Oyster Revival. The diner will offer the dish as a recurring special (1401 Paulsen St.) to celebrate local coastal flavors and support conservation. Savannah Morning News
