- ➤ According to a WalletHub study released Tuesday, Georgia is ranked No. 1 for racial progress as it reduced the earnings gap by over 32% since 1979 + cut the education gap by more than 23 percentage points while also boosting business ownership and civic engagement. Savannah Morning News
- ➤ Downtown streets will be closed on Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade starting at 10 a.m. at East Broad and Liberty, and traffic will be rerouted until around 2 p.m. Vehicles in no parking zones may be towed. WJCL
